Encouraging functional fitness in a fun and challenging environment
“We are seeking tangible results and we will have documented proof of improvement! My goal is to train our athletes to be concerned with their performance on the field and realize that by training for functionality, the form (body) they desire will soon follow.” Greg Love, Instructor

My passion for sports and fitness started as a youth through my involvement in high school athletics and beyond. I am currently an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Peer Fitness Trainer, train other firefighters through the Peer Fitness Training Program and assist with the physical training of the new recruits. I am also a Certified Level One Crossfit Trainer. All of these experiences have helped my exercise philosophy evolve over time. I have come to the personal conclusion that the ideal exercise program for athletes should be based on functional movements and performance training, rather than traditional “bodybuilding” type exercises.
I have created High-Test Performance Training with the goal of educating and enthusing athletes and clients about functional fitness. I believe, through functional movements, that athletic performance as well as everyday living will be exponentially improved. The movements taught are organic in nature and functional in every way. Athletes use their bodies as a unit, so why would they train their bodies any other way? By incorporating three basic modalities of time-proven exercise: gymnastics, power lifting, and metabolic conditioning (cardio) we can build a healthier, faster, more accurate, smarter and more powerful athlete.
Selecting a trainer and training program for you or your athlete is not a decision to be taken lightly. The wrong program or trainer can prove to be dangerous, as well as a waste of time and money. A trainer should be knowledgeable, motivated and responsible. If you are looking for a trainer who is going to coddle you or your athlete, then I am not your guy! If you are looking for a trainer who is going to push you or your athlete in a safe, positive and responsible manner, then I am the man for the job. I am looking to train goal-oriented, accountable and self-driven clients. I am not interested in babysitting or running a summer camp! I do, however, want this to be a rewarding and fun partnership between myself, the athletes. This experience should be something that the client enjoys and wants to continue. That does not mean easy!
